Dementia Care Consulting is owned and run by Laurie White, MSW. For the past 25 years Laurie has dedicated her career to supporting people with memory loss, assisting their families and educating health care professionals.
Laurie has worked with families at all stages of Alzheimer’s disease, trained direct care staff, facilitated caregiver support groups, taught gerontology students and developed programs for assisted living facilities and local chapters of the Alzheimer’s Association. Laurie has conducted presentations on dementia care topics around the country, offering practical, ready-to-use information to audiences of family caregivers and health care providers working in community based and residential care programs.
Laurie is the co-author of two nationally acclaimed books:

Moving a Relative with Memory Loss: A Family Caregiver’s Guide
Laurie received her Masters of Social Work and Specialist in Aging certificate from the University of Michigan. She lives in Santa Rosa, California.
